Are the pears on a Khalil Mamoon Pear hookah plastic or glass?
Because if they are plastic I will get an all-metal stemmed KM hookah instead.
The Pears are Acrylic on Khalil Mamoon and Magdy Zidan Hookahs.

Al Fakher Watermelon review: Smoked out of my new KM hookah
Hookah: big thick smoke clouds, but after 10 mins... Harsh!?
so after all of my recent problems/issues:

i decided to , instead of using my phunnel bowl i decided to use the standard egyptian bowl that came with my hookah, and for a while of heating 2 coals around the edges of the bowl i didnt get any thick smoke or any big clouds,,, so i decided to push them both toward the middle of the bowl....
after around 5 seconds.. my hookah started to rip amazingly!!
i had the biggest clouds ever for that hookah(KM) ...
BUT
after around 5 minutes.. all of a sudden the smoke started to get EXTREMLY HARSH, there was nothing i could do about it!... i blew all the smoke out of the base to get rid of the harsh smoke.. but after i hit the hose again, it was still harsh! and i could tell from the bowl and foil that it had already burned the hell outta all my shisha!..
SO PLEASE HELP ANY ADVICE!
btw im done using that phunnel bowl , piece of crap. sticking with my egyptian clay regular bowl.

First deciding what type of bowl to use has a lot to do with what type of shisha you are smoking ie. tangeries is best out of a phunnel bowl
As for using a phunnenl bowl we were running into the same problem until we started using a scalli mod which you can purchase online for around 8 buck or you can make one for free out of an aluminum can. refer to http://www.hookahgiveaway.com/forum/topics/what-is-a-scalli-mod?x=1&id=2649387%3ATopic%3A35476&page=2#comments for more on how to make a scalli mod and how it work. We now only use the phunnel with it the smoke sesion last a lil over 2 hours usually and has yoet to get harsh.
Also may I suggest another bowl, a vortex seems to work great, when using the vortex i usually use 3 coconaras and a wind gard. Simply take the wind gard off at the first sight of it being harsh. depending on the type of shisha sometimes we use 2 cocos and half a quick light. Heat management plays a big part in your cloud size keep adjusting untill you find what works with your hookah and shisha. Good luck I hope you find what works best for you.
