I don't really want to go clubbing because I'm only 19. My friends and I flock to Hookah Cafe every night, but I was wondering if anyone knew of OTHER places or events that stay open past midnight that are NOT clubs? Only in the San Antonio area, please.

As the hookah has become popular throughout Western countries, the variety of different shapes and sizes of pipe has become more diverse. Many Chinese pipes, for example, are made of inferior materials that may not be entirely safe to smoke through. There's some speculation that smoking through a copper pipe can be poisonous to humans, although no solid scientific studies have proven the exact effects. But it's probably better to be on the safe side and pay a little more for a quality pipe made of reliable materials by a respected brand.

The racism of thinking that underachieving minorities are underachieving.And I always wonder: underachieving by who’s standards?I used to work for public housing, and it became clear to me that most of our clients had no interest in getting off welfare. Many of them achieved exactly what they wanted in life: a stable place to live, a happy family, food on the table, and the ability to spend most of the day not working and watching TV.It may come as a surprise to white liberals, but not all ghetto black people are interested in becoming like them. Not all of them want high SAT scores or want to go to a good of gang culture – right I am at a hookah cafe outside Detroit listening to a table of Chaldeans trying waaaay to hard to be black. Many of them are enamored by gangsta culture – probably for the same reason that many black kids are. Also, they don’t consider themselves to be white. White is not cool. And they actively and unapologetically promote their ethne. You will hear sociologists talk about all the socioeconomic factors that contribute to the formation of gangs. I would agree with a lot of these, but you never hear them talk about the obvious. The lifestyle is seductive. Fast money, excitement, no homework. Who wants to stay up till 4 AM studying for your calculus exam when you can stay up til 4 smoking weed, selling drugs, and making -> Poverty -> CrimeConservatives:Crime -> Poverty -> RacismLike most things in life, reality is probably somewhere in between.
