herbal shisha and acute pancreatitis?
I have acute pancreatitis, and I've researched the internet and it seems like things to avoid with pancreatitis are alcohol, tobacco products (because of nicotine. nicotine is what damages the pancreas), and fatty foods.
So if I wanted to smoke hookah, would it be okay to smoke herbal shisha (tobacco free, nicotine free, and tar free)?
Yes it would be okay!
My husband has acute pancreatitis and for the past 5 years we have been smoking herbal shisha about 3-5 times a week, and he has never had a problem with it. In fact, he really really enjoys it and it's very relaxing.
The only thing I'd suggest you watch out for is getting ripped off. If you are planning on purchasing Herbal Shisha online, Specifically by the brand soex, do not pay more than $7 for 50 grams. There are many websites (www.herbal-smoke-shop.com/) that are trying to rip people off by asking $21.50 for this brand. I've never paid more than $5 for it.
A good website to purchase it from is http://www.shisha-hookah.com/Soex-Tobacco-Free-c-290.html They only charge $2.49 for a box of it.
Just make sure not to get ripped off on it!!

Okay so I am looking to purchase a hookah near me. I was looking to smoke Herbal Tea Shisha, which contains 0% Tobacco and 0% Nicotine. I am 17 years old, would I be able to walk into the local tobacco shop and purchase the hookah and the Herbal Tea Shisha( If they have it) and not be hassled? I live in NJ and the legal age for purchasing tobacco is 19, but if there are no tobacco products involved, is it a problem?

Honestly…I think it is illegial for anyone under 18 to own a hookah in California. A friend of mine said they wanted to buy one a few years ago, and couldn't because of being underage.
So, I'd stay away from it…just to be on the safe side.
